Carson practices what he preaches by talking the talk and walking the walk — training and racing the very same races and workouts as his athletes. There is no better way to coach than from your own experience and deep understanding of human performance from one’s own data. Carson does all that and heads up the FasCat exercise physiology lab specializing in maximal lactate steady state and metabolic testing.
” I live and breathe FasCat on both sides of the coach-athlete relationship: as a coach and getting coached. Not only do my athletes inspire with their dedication to hard work, but as I analyze my own data I am prompted to share what I see about myself to my athletes as it relates to helping them become faster. “
-Carson Christen, M.S., FasCat Exercise Physiologist & Coach
